OnePlus has earned a loyal following in Kota, especially among students and young professionals who want near-flagship performance without paying the absolute top price. The Fluid AMOLED displays look gorgeous, the charging speeds are remarkable, and the clean OxygenOS experience appeals to users who know phones well. However, when something goes wrong with a OnePlus device, the repair needs careful handling — particularly around the display and the charging system.
What We Repair on OnePlus Phones
Our technicians at Prince Mobile in Keshavpura have experience with OnePlus models ranging from the older OnePlus 6T and 7 Pro to the current OnePlus 13 and Nord series. The repairs we perform most often include:
- Fluid AMOLED screen replacement — The high-refresh-rate AMOLED panels on OnePlus flagships are premium components. A cracked screen with ink bleeding needs immediate attention because the damage spreads quickly.
- Battery replacement — OnePlus batteries typically start showing reduced capacity after 18 to 24 months of heavy use. The fast-charging cycle, while convenient, does accelerate cell ageing compared to standard charging.
- WARP / SUPERVOOC charging port issues — The USB-C port takes a lot of daily wear, and the pins inside can bend or accumulate lint. A damaged port can prevent WARP charge from engaging even if the adapter and cable are fine.
- Back glass replacement — Most OnePlus flagships have glass backs, which crack on impact. The curved edges on some models make back panel replacement more delicate.
- Camera module repairs — A cracked camera glass or a loose module after a drop affects image quality noticeably on OnePlus's high-spec camera systems.
- Software and boot issues — OxygenOS updates are generally stable, but failed updates or corrupted system partitions can leave the phone stuck on the logo screen.
OnePlus Repair Cost Guide
OnePlus repairs are generally in the mid-to-premium price bracket because the components themselves are more expensive. These are typical ranges we see in 2026; your exact cost is confirmed after a free diagnosis at our Keshavpura counter.
| Repair | Typical Price Range |
|---|---|
| Screen replacement (Nord series) | Rs 2,500 – Rs 4,500 |
| Screen replacement (flagship — 11, 12, 13) | Rs 5,000 – Rs 10,000 |
| Battery replacement | Rs 900 – Rs 2,000 |
| Charging port repair | Rs 500 – Rs 1,200 |
| Back glass replacement | Rs 800 – Rs 2,000 |
| Camera glass / module | Rs 400 – Rs 3,000 |
The AMOLED Screen Question
One of the most common questions we get from OnePlus owners is whether a replacement screen will look and feel the same as the original. Genuine OnePlus AMOLED panels sourced through authorised channels are the ideal option, but availability depends on the model. We also work with high-quality A-grade compatible AMOLED displays that offer accurate colour reproduction and smooth 90 or 120 Hz refresh rates. We will show you the difference and let you choose — we never fit a low-quality LCD on a phone that came with AMOLED.
Does WARP Charge Work After a Port Repair?
OnePlus WARP and SUPERVOOC fast-charging rely on the USB-C port, the charging IC on the board, and the correct cable and adapter combination. If we replace the port itself and the IC is intact, WARP charge should resume normally. If the charging IC needs attention at a board level, that is a separate chip-level repair which we can quote for separately. We always test charging speed before returning the phone.
A Note on Kota's Environment
Kota's dry, dusty climate — and the occasional heavy monsoon — can be rough on phone ports and speakers. We see plenty of OnePlus phones where the USB-C port is packed with fine dust that has built up over months. A careful clean with a soft brush often restores partial charging before a full port replacement is even needed. During the monsoon season especially, students cycling back from coaching institutes get phones wet in sudden downpours. If your OnePlus has been exposed to water, power it off immediately and bring it to us without attempting to charge it.
Bring your phone to our Keshavpura shop for a free check-up — we will tell you exactly what is wrong, what it will cost, and how long it will take before you commit to anything. We understand that for coaching students, even a few hours without a phone can feel disruptive, so we work as quickly as the repair safely allows.
